Before certain months we read in internet that the most popular video game in the planet this moment wow that it loses 600 thousands subscribers each quarter (source: Google Search).
The wow is certain that apart from the most popular game, is perhaps the most completed right now and certainly the number of million subscribers justified by the factor of the [complete game].The players can spend a pleasant time at any moment they decide to enter the game.
But the WoW is already in its seventh year and this "marriage" between the players and the game has become just a habit. Everything in life after some time it can not offer new experiences ,and WoW that it had to give, already gave it. You can see in the chart this drop of interest about Wow !

Swtor End Game Pontifications I see so much confusion about "End Game". -
What exactly is End Game ?
End Game is when you have reached the end of the game content. And all that is left are minigames. Say , running the same few raids over and over to aquire equipment , or endless battlegrounds against other players. in short , Sandbox stuff.
I hear people ask, "what are we going to do at end game ?"
You do understand you are asking "what are we going to do when we reach the end of the game ?" The game is over, you've won , you finished it.
But There's a whole world full of pve quests you can do at max level !
Umm...then that technically is not end game. It may be "Max Level" stuff, but if you still have quests, you are not at the end of the game yet.
Not to say that I object to them putting in a whole world full of max level quests. Far from it , I think it's a great idea , and they should add more and more.
But it's not technically "End Game". You havn't finished questing yet.....
I've seen space-travel games, and planetside games, but to really immerse a player in a fictional universe, I'd like to see a game that implements both to a satisfactory degree. I'm eager to see just how far the developers of Star Wars: The Old Republic take it- I acknowledge that there is a healthy amount of speculation in my post, but I feel that if the space mechanic was any more sophisticated, we would have heard about it by now.
The devs have said that each player will be able to purchase a ship at some point (each class seems to be associated with their own specific ship). The space system will be split into two major pieces: travel and combat. I would like players to be able to build/buy/upgrade their own ships, to make them unique from one another, and to really create a relationship between the player and his ship, a la Han and the Millenium Falcon.
From what I've gathered, the combat seems to be exclusively available in missions, where the player will be "on-rails". They are able to move freely, but only within a small "pipe", dictated by a camera which moves automatically......
Hopes and suggestions from Community for the Swtor space system.

In this Swtor statement, EA CEO John Riccitiello talks a lot about mmo Microtransactions and he mentions playing a game for 6 hours straight and having to pay 1 dollar just to re-clip your ammo (@24:40 of the presentation), should we be concerned at all?
These opinions sparked a Burst of 87 pages commentary in the official web-site's forums
. The major problem with these statements is EA's CEO didn't clearly explain his thoughts of what Microtransactions he meant or if swtor will have Microtransactions.
There are many type of Microtransactions ,some of them affect player game ,some of them not.for example, items like special looking rings-earings ,dresses, mounts that do not give any extra stats, XP gain, etc and they are only cosmetics i don't think there is any gamer in the world that is against them.
But in other hand there are the items that do change stats, XP gain , fire power , armor defense .these items used a lot in free to play mmo games and they the reason that free to play many times cost more than these mmo with monthly fee.
As a veteran gamer i didn't support games that combine the two methods of microtransactions .It is a plain scam method to steal money from kids / stupid people that are innocents and i will wait to see EA's Responce on this EA's CEO statement that clarifies ceo thoughts.
Sorry EA and your president , you must choose between cosmetic micotransactions and monthly fee or free to play and miccotransactions that affect game experience ,and you must redefine your thoughts as soon as possible!
Any combination of these two situations will find us against you with what ever that means ...Even stop hosting this fansite and redirect all of our traffic to other mmo site or content.
P.M. I and my sister , the Light Side of the Force will fight against "Darkness"
even we loose our opportunity to play Swtor
( as you seen i enjoyed a lot our custom Star Wars smileys

You've all watched Star Wars (well I hope you did..) I read a few developers posts about the cross-faction talk and the said that it's only enabled in the beta, and its highly likely that it will not be in the finished game.
When I heard about that it struck me, being that I'm a heavy PvPer ,i am also and a heavy socialize gamer that use the chat a lot . Maybe if it can be reconsidered being that Bioware/Lucasarts said they want to make this feel like a REAL star wars experience *, Cross-faction talk in swtor should be enabled. It would really add a sense of reality in the game, especially in PvP atmosphere inside the game.
It's used in everquest , and works wonderfully, and it is not used in Aion and that was a reason that pvp in aion sucks a lot ,because you can see that the enemy speaks but you can not read what he writes
Always ,in pvp games ,a bit of QQ chat is like the alas of pvp and many times the qq after pvp is the reason for the mmo gamers to try more to be better in pvp strategy (swtor = startegy ) , armor - weapons and levels
Although I know there are people who don't PVP at all, wouldn't it be easy to just have an option where cross-faction talk can be disabled in Tor due to various reasons of BAD LANGUAGE in cross-faction talk ?
*In every battle with lightsabers in star wras there was a QQ chat between star wars characters !!!!!!!
Discuss it.
1. WoW's scale. The first time I got out of the starter zone, I couldn't believe just how big the game was. It truly felt epic traveling to the other continent the first time. I hope they give this game that same sense of epic scale.
2. WARs group quest system. I loved it. The fist time I stumbled into troll country and jumped into an epic battle with a giant group of people was awesome and a total blast.
3. DDO's loot system. In my opinion, this game nailed the loot system. Each player gets their own loot table in the dungeons. You choose which items you want or need. Your in control of your own gear.
4. FPS's map/game type system - Most mmo's seem to follow the same basic pvp structure with few choices for game types. I hope ToR learns something from and evolves MMO PVP. Have capture the flag, last man standing, king of the hill, etc etc. I want my mmo pvp to be as fun and varied as my FPS pvp.
5. MYST Puzzles - Some really cool puzzles along the way would be nice, even if they are only for bonus items/credits/lore and not true barriers. Puzzles that require a group to complete would be cool as well.
6. Zelda (yeah I said it) exploration/easter eggs - Zelda was one of my favorite games from childhood. Once I found out you could, I remember blowing up tons of walls just to see if I could find hidden entrances or areas. Most MMOs have a straight line to objectives or instances without any true reason to explore. How cool would it be to be able to stumble into hidden caves, abandoned cities, crypts...etc etc.
So which features do you hope SwToR borrows from other games?
Source :[Swtor.com Community] i will post to the official tomorroz ... it is too late here in greece

Excellent Thread from swtor community member ( xxfnordxx )
I want to supplement this thread with my desired features for swtor as a mmo game .you can vote in more than one choice .if you write your own features in a comment , i will put them in the poll.Unfortunately there is a limit of 20 choices by design.
My suggested features are :
1. Quests where player or players as a group must deal or avoid npc actions / movement / behavior or just deal with countdown timer to finish the quest.Lotro has many of them .i will call them in poll choise "smart" quests.
2. Large scale Race Vs Race battles. Come on Bioware we all have seen all the 6 Star Wars films and in every film there was at least on big battle.
3. Openworld free Boss fights ,like Lineage 2. Star wars lore main feature is the strong Competition between Old Republic and the Empire.
4. RVR space battles .it is ok for the launch the release date the tunnel single game space combat like old fashion game Starfox 64 but in the future will be fantastic if we will have a better and a larger interactive space battle against the other race ,like EVE but in faster motion , you know ,someone must try to destroy our death star
.
5. Player ladder for PvE and PvP content, better inside the game ,but a site is ok too.Darkfall has it inside the game , Aion, WoW has it in a site.
6. Meeting Events/Minigames between different Geographical Areas/Regions.this extend the feature No 4 of xxfnordxx. there is no reason at all to not have in a mmo game a mechanism where all the players of the game to meet its other. On aoc there was 2 different regions .usa and europe . i never pvped with a player from usa and i naver pvped a 6:00 in the morning ( after my work ) because all were at sleep this time in europe region.
i think ( a friend told me ) wow has implement something like that , i am not sure because i never played WOW
* wow did it many times in the past and 9 choices left to fill out the poll
HURRY UP GUYS ,no registration required to poll it is a Free Poll !!!

Forum-goer 1: That update sucked!
Forum-goer 2: Yeah man. I mean, a book? I came here for a game update
Forum-goer 3: There's no need to complain, you get what you get.
Forum-goer 4: You all need to stop whining like spoiled brats. It's not like they promised you a GOOD update every week
Forum-goers 5-1056: Rabble rabble rabble.
Chaos ensues......meanwhile, at Bioware Austin......
Scene 2: Bioware Austin
DE: So how did they react to the update?
SR: Not well, most of them are upset. They're saying it wasn't a real update. The forums have descended into chaos, aggravated by the fact that whenever they voice their displeasure their threads and negative posts are deleted.
DE: Good, good. The plan is proceeding nicely.
SR: Plan? What plan?
DE: The plan to use pure nerd rage and tears as fuel to sustain Cthulhu in his conquest of the Earth.
SR: What?
DE: You didn't actually think we were developing a game did you? There's no way we could live up to the hype we've created
SR: So you mean.....this whole thing.....
DE: Yes,
SR:
Scene 3: Bioware Austin, an elegant throne room (1 day later)
A shadowy figure stands with his back turned to the room's only entrance.
Enter DE
DE: Master, it is done. Chaos reigns among the fans, and the tears flow freely.
Master: Yes, Cthulhu will reign supreme!
DE: It is time you made yourself known to the world as it's new Assistant to the Supreme Ruler.
Master: Assistant Supreme Ruler sounds better
DE: But they're not the same thing
Master: Yes they are! Do not argue with me!
DE:
Master: Now I will turn around, revealing my identity to you and
the entire world!
The shadowy figure turns slowly around, removing his hood as he does so
THE END!!!
If you want to know who DE is taking orders from, you'll have to buy my upcoming book titled "Daniel"!
JK, his master is a Frankenstein-like monster made up of parts from the Marketing team, Georg Zoeller, and the unrevealed Emperor from the game.
